The Okra Thief is a book about the adventures of the twins named Maryam and Adnan from Tingel – but it is more than just a nice children’s book. It is the product of a creative, joyous exchange between children in Germany and Chad.
It is a book for children, made by children, illustrated lovingly by Chadian graphicartist, Salma Khalil.
 
The book is available worldwide in two versions - English/German and French/Arabic.
