Iwalewabooks was successful at the Leipzig Book Fair!
At It´s a Book, the annual exhibition venue for art and design publications, iwalewabooks presented in particular the publications bixinho and Plan B: A Gathering of Strangers (Or) This is not working. Both include Bayreuth collaborations: Bixinho is a queer love story about freedom and self- determination. The photographs are framed by an essay by the cultural geographer, who lives at Uni Bayreuth, Jan Simon Hutta. Plan B , the book by BayFink fellow Dean Hutton was created as part of the research and practice network Inclusion at universities and barrier- free Bavaria.
In the coming months we publish books on the oeuvre of Yassine Balbzioui (Identity to Rent), the Bauhaus (Radicalise Bauhaus) on Inclusion (Access All Areas) as well as Future Ideas (Radical Futures), together with the Bayreuth Academy of Advanced African Studies.
